Where are your ingredients sourced from?
The quality of ingredients are non-GMO, organic, local, wild-crafted/wild-harvested, food-grade, pesticide-and-petrochemical-free products whenever possible are important. Ingredients are purchased from companies that align with the philosophy of Saturn’s Moon Botanicals: Mountain Rose Botanicals, Starwest Botanicals, Lhasa Karnak, Alembique Apothecary.
Where do you make your products?
I have designated a small apothecary in my home in West Berkeley.
What are your ingredients?
It is 100% Plant based using herbs, flowers, roots, aromatherapy infused in organic, cold pressed oils. No additives, synthetic fragrances or color are used in Saturn’s Moon products.
How are your products made?
Infusion of herbs, plants, roots with organic oils are solar infused for 6 weeks minimum. This is the traditional way of using the warmth of the sun to extract the healing properties of the herbs into the oil that are 100% handcrafted. From infusing, extracting, mixing, packaging it is done with intention and love.
Who makes the products?
As a one woman shop I absolutely make the products and that way products are made in small batches to ensure quality.
What is the shelf life of the products?
Because small batches are made to ensure quality and freshness, I recommend one year of opening and keeping products out of the sun and in a cool dry place.
Why do some oils appear a different color from the others?
This is because the plants that are infused in the oil alters the color e.g holy basil will have a greenish color after the solar infusion extracting the plants healing properties. No artificial color or additives are added.
Return & Exchanges: If you are unhappy with your product 14 days after your purchase, an exchange or a refund will be honored. Please email with concerns saturnsmoonbotanical@gmail.com and we’ll take care of you.
