Inspiring Intentional Living

Possible Worlds: A Writing Salon

Stories lives in us. We are made of stories. Each and every one of us.
We make sense of the world through our emerging narratives. It shapes us.
We’re sharing and rewriting stories to crave ways of being that honor love, grief, loss, change, we’re writing to understand ourselves deeply.

This writing salon is about self-inquiry, curiosity, and creativity. A brave, nuanced,
relational offering for the writers and the non-writers as a practice for attuning to liberation and what is getting in the way of listening. A generative and embodied practice of speaking new worlds and words into existence that is capable of holding beauty, holding truth, being surprised, real, free, so that we can be, too.

In embodiment practices with Agape Yoga with Krystle Flynn Founder of Pink Salt Wellness & Yoga Studio and writing as alchemical processes in revealing ourselves and unfolding within to start crafting possible worlds in visioning, dreaming, and imagining. It is here for you, me, and us.

A Communal Remembrance:

This is an experience that brings in ceremony and prayer to honor and promote a conscious connection with the natural world. A communal remembrance of food being one of our richest connections to the planet, we practice reciprocity with the land. Combined with a workshop of bundle dyeing with botanicals, also known as eco-printing on fabric to create a gorgeous piece to keep and take home. An evening soaked in grace and worthy of love.

Ayurvedic Chef, Alexandra Sargent will include a plant-based 3-course dinner curated with beauty and sensuality infused with the fragrance of gratitude.

Ayurvedic cooking brings us home to ourselves. To our intuition, our wisdom, our deep inner knowing that we already know how to care for ourselves, and that the body has miraculous healing capabilities if we know how to care for it. In Ayurveda we focus on eating freshly prepared, seasonal, whole foods, that taste delicious and leave us feeling good afterwards. How we feel after a meal is just as important as how delicious the meal tasted. Food has the ability to be profound medicine, or it can take us towards the disease process. When we learn how to tune in to how our bodies are feeling, we can find freedom in our relationship with food and truly start thriving in life.

“Learning to live each and every moment in concert with the cyclical rhythms of the universe provides a solid foundation for building a rich and wholesome life.”

~Bri Maya Tiwari

Ayurveda is known as the mother of medicine which really speaks to its nurturing quality. But in other words, all other medical systems stemmed from Ayurveda. Translating as “life knowledge, or the science of life” Ayurveda looks beyond your age or your state of physical health. Rather it examines the union of your mind, body, senses and soul using the universal and time-tested laws of nature.

We're inspiring slow, intentional living as an antidote to a hectic life. An invitation to remember to treat yourself sacredly, staying invested in yourself and the world within and around you.  This gathering will be set in a private residence in Concord, CA.

Kamayan Gathering

We’re excited to share this creative culinary experience with you this summer.  A collaboration with Nolan Miranda & Armando Breiz of Babboi.sf, a local Bay Area Small Business that specializes in Filipino food. BAB BOI is a play on words of the Tagalog Filipino word meaning pig or pork- the ultimate symbol of indulgence.  In addition, pigs are diligent, compassionate, and generous- qualities that are reflected in Filipino cuisine and culture.

In the art of indulging, this experience will titillate the five senses in appreciating the richness of life where history, culture, and flavors happen simultaneously.

Kamay is the Tagalog word for ‘hand,' traditionally Filipinos ate their food with their hands, giving the name Kamayan. Kamayan feasts are enjoyed when a whole community shares a variety of Traditional Filipino cuisine spread on fragrant banana leaves. Kamayan upholds the values of fostering community, sharing, cultural pride, and togetherness.

An invitation to experience an intentional space for connection, remembering we have stories to share and celebrate our differences.  With our different lived experiences and ancestral backgrounds, we all aspire to love and belong.
